The City of London was home, at one point, to over 100 churches.
Some were demolished, while others were lost to fire and war.
Some of these lost churches were rebuilt, while others survived unscathed.
Some have been left as ruins, becoming tranquil areas of peace in the City.
Today there are only 47 churches still operating, within the City of London, from the original 113.
