The Surrey Commercial Docks (in use as shipyards from at least 1696), Rotherhithe, included: Canada Dock, Canada Pond, Albion Dock, Stave Dock, Russia Dock, Globe Pond, Lavender Pond, Acorn Pond, Lady Dock, Norway Dock, Greenland Dock, South Dock, Commercial Basin, Quebec Pond, Centre Pond, West Dock, plus various interconnecting canals and basins. The docks closed in 1969.
