London Docklands: Vestiges of a Bygone Era

When London's docks closed in the late 20th century, a monumental regeneration of these areas began. 

However, not all was lost. Scattered throughout London's Docklands are relics of the past. 

Hydraulic sluices, cranes, retractable bridges, office buildings, lock mechanisms, and more

 have all been left in place, seamlessly connecting old and new.
