This odd looking bridge twisting above Floral Street, Covent Garden, isn't just a random piece of art, connecting two different buildings. It is highly functional and has a name: 'The Bridge of Aspiration'.
This bridge connects the Royal Ballet School to the Royal Opera House, serving as a direct link for dancers to easily move between their school and the Royal Opera House.

The bridge was designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and was completed in 2003. Its unique twisting design was intended to evoke the fluidity and grace of dance.
