The Tamesis floating pub. |
Brief History
Named after an ancient name for the River Thames, Tamesis is a 1930s Dutch barge that has been converted into a floating pub.
Offering food, live music, an entertainment space and free wifi, along with views of Vauxhall Bridge, Tate Britain, Millbank, Thames House and Lambeth Bridge, the Tamesis is a truly unique place for a quiet drink and a bite, while still close enough to the hustle and bustle of the Unfinished City.
